Some things demand more time and it shows. You must smile so huge when you see this all finished now!Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10424861624240818479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-23085974458203274232015-01-03T04:42:01.426-05:002015-01-03T04:42:01.426-05:00Love your quilt, and I agree there's no point ...Love your quilt, and I agree there's no point being so driven by the desire to finish a project that all enjoyment in the process is lost! I made a simple ninepatch plaid quilt in 2014 and really liked the way all the different patterns and colours came together.
Best wishes for the projects you undertake this year.
Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00815741923418492777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-47581281709663359902015-01-02T21:48:43.327-05:002015-01-02T21:48:43.327-05:00Hi, Tahoe34. Once or twice I set a goal to finish a quilt in a certain amount of time for one of the link-ups. I had to push myself so hard and devote time to it when there were other things I needed to do that I didn't enjoy it quite so much. So I just devote what time I can (among all the other things I have to do) and enjoy it along the way. Take care. Happy New Year to you, too.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-47012717815448179142015-01-02T21:17:05.940-05:002015-01-02T21:17:05.940-05:00I think we all get way too caught up in the "...I think we all get way too caught up in the "finishing" and forget to enjoy the journey. I think the quilt you made is beautiful, and good for you for enjoying the process. I have a collection of plaid scraps waiting to be played with but lately my time has been all about the puppies. My time at the sewing machine and computer has been so very limited.Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13723204041199316054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-38048208778755315332015-01-02T20:09:35.140-05:002015-01-02T20:09:35.140-05:00Such a pretty quilt, Nancy! So whoop whoop for a beautiful finish and I hope to see more finishes by you in 2015!!Sarah Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18393284767325742399noreply@blogger.com
