I like this one a lot.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-88317726861349838852017-06-13T19:22:23.071-04:002017-06-13T19:22:23.071-04:00This quilt is so soft and lovely. It takes a certain talent and you've obviously got it.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14423024947233260195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-81161099861320083312017-06-13T00:47:30.853-04:002017-06-13T00:47:30.853-04:00Oh, yes, I think it would be incredibly hard to be...Oh, yes, I think it would be incredibly hard to be my age and have to raise grandchildren, especially ones who are 5 and under. My daughter was here last week, too, so I wasn't really tending them except when she went to the temple and one afternoon when she took a short nap. They just have so much energy, it sometimes makes me tired to watch them play. LOL

I'm trying to push along on the light quilt. It has many seams and it's shedding like crazy. As grandmas we want to be able to spoil them a little but when we have to act as parent we can't do that so easily. I hope things get better for you and your family.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-54082191757315574052017-06-13T00:38:29.000-04:002017-06-13T00:38:29.000-04:00Thanks, Jocelyn. And one of these days I will finish before the next block is posted!

I hope this quilt, with the circles, turns out how I imagine it.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-90466623852020643962017-06-12T16:40:09.359-04:002017-06-12T16:40:09.359-04:00Tending grandkids, no matter how wonderful they ar...Tending grandkids, no matter how wonderful they are, takes its toll. I understand tired. Now ...The quilt is beautiful. I understand tired. Now that school is out, I have an eleven year old grandson with us for the summer and "us" is my 40 year old son, his 3 year old daughter and this old woman. I have the 3 year old all the time when he is working and, of course, she is always here. She is wearing us all out at meal time. She'll eat something one time and throw a fit another time. She'll act like she's gagging and chew and chew and chew until she probably is about to gag. Last night I got up and left the table. I walked the short distance to the kitchen and her my son slam his hand down on the dining room table. He was mad and he knew I already was. We are going to get an "old fashioned timer" and when it goes off, her plate is gone. I'm tired of the fits at meal time. I haven't slept in two nights due to the stress. We just went to my daughter's and she ate like a champ with 3 other kids eating. This has been going on for months. I have an invisible disability that stress makes much, much worse and a sleep disorder is part of it. I'm going to knit today while watching her and then try to sew when Dada gets home. When I see your quilting, I realize how much I miss it. Beautiful work.Suzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05825257012315494167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572317733773180899.post-21846156942016611962017-06-12T08:16:20.865-04:002017-06-12T08:16:20.865-04:00Loving your progress and chat about it on your Che...Loving your progress and chat about it on your Cheri's blocks.
