The Last Green Block for May's RSC

I think this is my last green block, though I may need to make one or two more after I see all the blocks together with their alternate snowballs.

In my effort to catch up with colors from previous months I also made some blue and red blocks.

The crazy jumble of these blocks is too much except that I know the alternate light snowballs will calm the whole mess.  I think these blocks are very fun to make, and easy, too.

I'm linking this post to Last Green Day at So Scrappy.  Thank you for hosting, Angela.

Now I'm off to see what the color for June is.

    1. I'm looking forward to seeing them together, too, Jenny. Too bad I have to wait for another few months!
I think pulling fabric and cutting, if necessary, take longer than sewing the blocks together.

    1. Thank you, Nancy. Some of my fabrics are really old, and some oddballs that I collected from a recycle center. It's a fun way to use them.
As soon as I posted I went to Angela's blog and saw that orange is for June. I had pulled a stack of oranges, knowing we'd eventually get around to them. I was surprised the color came up so soon.

  4. That's what it's all about. . . having fun while you're quilting.

    1. That's so true, Robin. For something like quilting, why do it if we don't enjoy it? (Which can't be said of some essential activities like scrubbing the floor or cleaning the toilet.... Haha)

  5. Your 9ps have such a great variety of prints! And now we need to dig into the orange bin.

    1. Thanks, Nann. I look at these and think, What an odd assortment of prints. But that's a scrap quilt, I guess.
My oranges were ready to go on Saturday. I've been pulling colors in advance....
