I mostly wasn't impressed with the quilts at the fair this year but part of that could have been the dark hall in which they were shown. There were not many quilts, either. Several photos came out clear enough to post.

I'm so glad you shared those quilt photos, I haven't been to a quilt show for quite some time and really enjoyed seeing them.
ReplyDeleteThose Dear Jane quilts are always so stunning to see, reminding me never to make one (aren't I terrible?) I admire the work in them, but know they would drive me nuts. I loved the red quilt with the stepping stones in black that opened your post. Great contrasts!

I'm laughing as I type this, Elizabeth. I love to see those Dear Janes and there are a few blocks I can imagine larger used in a quilt, but I could never (would never want to) make a Dear Jane. (As I typed that I thought, beware of using "never!")
