Current Works in Progress

I'm sewing more of these

to make more of these.
I have 41 of these 9½" blocks.  Depending on whether I choose sashing or not, choose alternating blocks or not, straight or diagonal placement, I may need more.  I haven't laid them all out together yet.  Looking at this photo, maybe sashing would be a good choice.

On the hand quilting front, when I finally reach an edge, even for only one section, I feel like I'm making progress.

Those are my works in progress at the moment.

Thank you, Esther, LeAnn, and Lorna.

  1. visiting from Let's Bee Social. Your quilting looks nice. I agree--gotta have short term goals in long term projects. Claire aka knitnkwilt

  2. Very nice! Your hand quilting is beautiful!

  3. Your star quilt is beautiful. If you don't use sashing then the green lines flow together. However you decide to do, it it'll turn out grand!

  4. Great projects! I like those blocks on-point. I also feel accomplished when I get to the edges. I know I've been working on it but when that happens it's like, "Hey I did something!" :)

    1. Me, too, MegsAnn. Even though I know I'm making progress when working from the inside out on a quilt, when I get to the edges it seems that I can begin to see the end in sight. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.
