Down to Six

Just six of these blocks and the sashing around them left to hand quilt to finish my one monthly goal for April.

But the hand quilting won't be finished until I've done the 20 half-block setting triangles.  I wonder if it will seem like I'm going twice as fast because I'll be quilting half as much per block.  Either way, I'll enjoy the quiet time spent with needle, thread, and quilt in a hoop.

Happy quilting to you.

  1. It would definitely take me more than a month to hand quilt that much. I am so slow.
    I'll be cheering you on! : )

    1. There is not a lot of heavy quilting on these blocks, certainly not as much as on your little quilts, Janet. I am slow, too, which is why I set my goal at 15 blocks for a month. Thanks for the encouragement!

  2. You go, girl! I miss hand quilting, but I got to spend some time in my sewing room with my machine, piecing some tumblers that I cut before I got sick ... next best thing!

    1. Thank you for the encouragement, Kathy.

I've been thinking of you and your sore tummy and not being able to quilt. It's good that you're getting to your machine, though. That's something.

I'm way behind in reading and commenting on blog posts. I hope you continue to feel better.
