Posts to Enjoy #3

These posts are ones that I enjoyed and don't want to forget.   I hope you enjoy them too.

Want to donate a quilt?  Read Amy Smart's post, Ways to Help – Charity Sewing Ideas, to learn about how to find someone who wants what you want to give away.

Do you have old photographs in need of repair?  Read this post about a program that will do the repair for you, for free.

Cut paper!  Amazing.

One way to recycle cardboard, if you're ambitious.

What would I do if faced with this?!  What would you do?! https://i0.wp.com/familylocket.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/27-0723a.gif?resize=600%2C367&ssl=1 Dust Storm in Rolla, Kansas; "05/06/35; Dear Mr. Roosevelt, Darkness came when it hit us.  Picture taken from water tower one hundred feet high. Yours Truly, Chas. P. Williams."  Photo:  Massive Dark cloud approaching village in forefront.  From the National Archives at https://catalog.archives.gov/id/195691.

This link might not be so enjoyable but if you sell on Etsy you might want to take a look.  Yikes!  How often do you read the user agreements?

I hope you have a good week!

  1. I don t think the Dustbowl stil exists in the midwest, esp not in green jungly Ohio. Tho I do see dust storms reported in the SW. I guess you vacuum a lot afterwards?

I am thinking of giving up my etsy shop, not happy w third pay banking. Sad bec it was a lot of fun and creativity when it began, I enjoyed selling my designs there. I ll read the link.

    1. You're right, Lizzy.  No dustbowls in Ohio!  It seems that a specific combination of conditions caused the Dustbowl of the late 1920s/early 1930s.

I haven't used etsy but sometimes when I do searches results from etsy turn up.  It sounds like they've made some negative changes.  Are there other sites similar to etsy?
