Oh, Sew Carefully!
I so bravely and carefully sewed the colored strips together, aligning them just so, stitching straight, even seams
and it looks like they've become four straight borders! Sometimes I surprise myself.
On to measuring and sewing them to the edges of the quilt on Monday.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Jennie. I added the colored border today and it seems to lay flat but now I'm questioning color placement! There's always something when I'm working on a quilt.

ReplyDeleteI stitched that border on today, Kathy. Maybe I made a mistake in the color placement. I'm letting it rest and will look at it again tomorrow. Quilting is always an adventure for me!

ReplyDeleteI always feel pleased when I do some hard or new thing in quilting and it works out. I stitched the colored borders on today and the quilt is flat! (Surprise to me.) But now I question the color placement of some of those strips. Ha! I may -- or may not -- do some unsewing tomorrow.
